In the era of globalization, the world becomes “flat”, which requires every enterprise like Hawee to be always dynamic and professional and look for new directions as well as successfully acquire and apply the world’s huge technology and science resources. To gain more success in diversifying products and bringing the internationally standardized Vietnamese-branded products to customers, Hawee has implemented the strategy of accompanying “giants” to learn experience and create better and safer products. Sivacon S8 low-voltage switchboard is one of the copyrighted products purchased by Hawee under the technology transfer from Siemens as a global Electronic and Electrical Technology Group representing the technical achievements, innovations and quality, reliability and internationality for more than 165 years.

Sivacon S8 low-voltage switchboard designed, manufactured and assembled by Hawee at Hawee Plant under technology transfer license from Siemens.

Immediately after signing the contract, Hawee Design Engineers went to Germany to train and transfer all knowledge related to Sivacon S8 such as the way of implementing projects, product assembly and testing process and use of SFC (Simaris configuration software). The software is to configure the switchboards according to all requirements of the Customer. When entering information, it will produce data related to switchboard configuration manufactured by Hawee after Customers confirm. Before assembling the Sivacon prototypes, all certificates of input materials such as corrugated iron, copper, plastic … were checked by Hawee in compliance with Siemens’s standards. During the assembly process, Siemens’s experts supported, supervised and inspected design, process, operation and quality, as well as answered the questions of Hawee engineers. A Sivacon prototype assembled by Hawee was a double-front switchboard, which could be both installed with ACB and with a fixed and drawing tray on the same compartment. The prototypes, after completely assembled, were tested and approved by Siemens in accordance with its IEC61439-2 standard – as the common standard for all low-voltage switchboards in Europe. OEMs such as Siemens were responsible for the design and testing associated with the assembly of distribution switchboards and control cabinets according to the relevant standards.
